In October 2022, we started a crowdfunding campaign with our long-term partners at Kids Kabin, aiming to raise just under £7000 to keep delivering street bike repair workshops in Byker and Walker and to increase their number and reach. These workshops have been popular among residents and we know that many families have come to rely on them, especially at this time of economic crisis. Today, we are pleased to communicate that we’ve hit our target! Plans are already underway to start delivering sessions in February and more news will come soon. A huge thanks is due to all of you who helped us by donating or sharing our cause.
Not only: we’ve been offered a further incentive by Easyfundraising, a free online fundraising platform for charities we’re signed up to. They offered to pledge £1 for any new person registering to it and choosing us as their cause between now and January 31. To unlock the pledges, we need at least 10 new supporters.
