Are you a resident of Chester-Le-Street and the nearby areas and interested in cycling? Then this is the event for you! Go Smarter Go Active are co-ordinating a programme of free cycle training events in the North East.  Recyke y’bike are working in partnership with Durham County Council to deliver this event with a range of partners including the Police, Love to Ride & Halfords to bring an all-day cycling festival to Riverside Park in Chester-Le-Street! On August 2nd, from 10am to 2pm you’ll be able to take part in plenty of free bike-related activities, some of which are on a drop in basis and others bookable via our Eventbrite page. The activities include family led rides and e-bike rides, maintenance workshops for young people, various bikeability sessions, free safety checks of bikes, minibikes and prize draws, a donation station to leave your old bike to recyke y’bike and a cycling treasure hunt!
